Chuy’s is bringing its Tex-Mex fare to Bastrop, with the Austin-based restaurant planning to open a new location in Sendero, a 75-acre mixed-use development, in mid-2026.
The details
Construction of the 5,426-square-foot site—estimated to cost approximately $1.8 million—began in late 2025, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
“We’re excited to bring Chuy’s to Bastrop and introduce guests to our one-of-a-kind take on Tex-Mex,” Hailey Fitch, a spokesperson for Chuy’s, said in an email to Community Impact. “We’ve received outstanding support from the city.”
