About the Business Park

business park mapBastrop’s Business and Industrial Park is strategically located at the juncture of State Highways 71, 95, and 21 in beautiful Bastrop, Texas. Sited on 263 acres of wooded hills and lush flats, the Business Park is the proud home of several prosperous enterprises, including one of the few remaining U.S. based sewing operations, a major art sculpture foundry, and a company that provides clinical trial material management for the pharmaceutical research industry.

Zoned as commercial/industrial, the Bastrop Business and Industrial Park was established by the City of Bastrop in 1996. Recent studies show approximately 40% of Bastrop’s workforce is employed outside of the city, but would much prefer to work in town. To facilitate this need, the Bastrop EDC welcomes businesses and commercial entities that can provide employment opportunities and investment in our great community.

Located in the heart of the Texas Triangle, the Bastrop Business and Industrial Park is just 25 miles from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, 20 miles from the SH130 Tollway, 105 miles from San Antonio, and 134 miles from Houston. The Business Park offers greenfield land, abundant underground utilities, fiber connectivity, concrete streets, and a large, cost-effective labor force. Incentives for locating in the Business Park are offered on a case-by-case basis to qualifying businesses based on the number of primary jobs created and the amount of capital investment made.
