A wave of new dining options is headed to Bastrop as several restaurants prepare to open at a 75-acre mixed-use development along SH 71 called Sendero—expanding choices for residents with everything from coffee and sandwiches to steaks and Tex-Mex.

1. Chuy’s

The Austin-founded restaurant offers Tex-Mex menu items such as enchiladas, fajitas, flautas and house specialties like the Elvis Presley Memorial Combo, which includes beef, chicken and cheese enchiladas, a crispy taco, tostada chips and queso.
