Retail/Restaurant Momentum is Strong in Bastrop

Economic growth in Bastrop, TX, can be seen by the many retail and restaurant locations springing up in the area. At Burleson Crossing (707 State Highway 71), Jeremiah’s Italian Ice and Chipotle Mexican Grill are now open, as is Carter’s OshGosh B’gosh children’s clothing store. Smokey Mo’s BBQ plans to open there by the end of 2025.

Even bigger retail/restaurant plans for 2026!

Next year will be massive for additional retail/restaurant openings in Bastrop. For example, at the Sendero development alone, Chuy’s Tex-Mex, Texas Roadhouse, Jersey Mike’s Subs and Scooter’s Coffee all plan to open locations in 2026. Sprout’s Farmers Market and Longhorn Steakhouse will open up shop at Burleson Crossing in 2026, as well.
