Sprouts plans new store in Bastrop amid Central Texas expansion

An Arizona-based health and organic supermarket chain has been hard at work growing its presence across Texas. Now its eyeing one of the busiest regions in Central Texas just east of Austin.
The plans for a Sprouts Farmers Market in Bastrop were filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Tuesday, January 28. The $6 million store is aiming to begin construction on March 1 and is forecast to be completed by March 1, 2026.
