The investment in this “neighborhood hospital” is estimated at $30 million and will include an emergency room, imaging services, 12 treatments rooms, inpatient beds, and medical office space. As part of a Performance Agreement with Seton Family of Hospitals, the EDC has agreed to construct an extension of Agnes Street from SH 304 to the eastern property line of the Bastrop Grove subdivision.

The St. David's Emergency Center in Bastrop is a full-service freestanding emergency department that does not have attached inpatient facilities. This Emergency Center serves as an extension of the St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. St. David’s Emergency Center operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It features 10 multi-purpose exam rooms, including a trauma room, and is staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians as well as trauma-certified nurses.
