Austin Community College
The Austin Community College District is a public community college system serving the Austin, Texas metropolitan area and surrounding Central Texas communities. Austin Community College is a nationally recognized two-year college. ACC serves Central Texas as the primary gateway to higher education and technical training.
University of Texas
The University of Texas at Austin is a public research university in Austin, Texas. It was founded in 1883 and is the flagship institution of the University of Texas System. Academically, it’s known nationwide for its business, engineering, communication, and geology colleges. In addition, the University of Texas at Austin School of Law is ranked #16 in the United States.
St. Edward's University
St. Edward's University is a private, Catholic university in Austin, Texas. The most popular majors at St. Edward's University include: Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services; Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs; Biological and Biomedical Sciences; Psychology; and Visual and Performing Arts.
Concordia University
Concordia University Texas is a private, coeducational institution of liberal arts and sciences located in northwest Austin. The university offers undergraduate, graduate and online degrees as well as an Adult Degree Program for part-time and returning students.
Texas A&M
Texas A&M has a satellite location at Austin Community College. Texas A&M University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral degrees. The Texas-Chevron A&M Engineering Academy at Austin Community College is an excellent way for students to earn an engineering degree close to home.
Texas State University
Texas State University is a public research university. The Texas State University main campus is located in San Marcos, Texas, midway between Austin and San Antonio along Interstate 35.
