OFFICE MANAGER

The Bastrop Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) is accepting applications for the position of Office Manager. Under the general supervision of the BEDC Executive Director and/or Operations Manager, the position performs administrative duties in supporting the daily operation of the BEDC. Such duties include, but are not limited to, accounts payable; taking dictation and preparing minutes; scheduling meetings; answering phones; greeting the public; filing; data entry; and agenda and board packet preparation. Employees in this class exercise considerable discretion in matters of a sensitive and confidential nature, and are capable of resolving a wide range of non-routine issues and concerns. Able to perform work under charge with considerable latitude in independent judgment, with work reviewed by the Director/Operations Manager according to results obtained. Performs related work as required. Requires a high school diploma or GED; supplemented by a minimum of three to five years progressively responsible administrative experience. Salary range $15.00 - $18.50 per hour. Comprehensive employee benefit package.
