The 28,500 square foot Lakeside Hospital is a new, 15 bed facility which includes two operating theaters. Located on Texas State Highway 71, the $11 million acute care facility boasts a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, endoscopy suite, laboratory, radiology department including CT-scan capability, and respiratory therapy.

In addition to services at the Bastrop location, the hospital also has transfer agreements with local nursing homes and various Austin hospitals. Lakeside Hospital is equipped with a helipad for the quick transfer of emergency patients to Austin when needed.

The hospital is owned by local business leaders and doctors and is dedicated to a high quality of care to serve the health care needs of Bastrop and surrounding communities.
